The world of a costumer is often one of short deadlines, extreme designs, wonder woman costume adult and chaotic clients. As a custom costumer and occasional cosplayer, I jumped at the opportunity for a behind the scenes look at one of the world’s largest and most respected professional costume companies, on a private tour which is now being made open to the public. The self-confessed ‘geek’ exhibition is a chance for die-hard science fiction and fantasy fans to dress up as their favourite comic book characters, in a whirlwind two-day event at Glebe Island.
